AVV and OMS player component support is added, allowing users to implement custom Blueprint versions of the HoloSuite player. New AVV playback features are introduced, as well as several bug fixes.
Unreal support has been expanded to both 5.1 and 5.2 versions. A new Actor has been added to the plugin called HoloSuitePlayer, which replaces OMSMeshActor for volumetric playback and, with it, users can now leverage both OMS and AVV codecs and enjoy new features previously unavailable. All HoloSuite assets can now be dragged and dropped into the scene to automatically generate and pre-configure a HoloSuitePlayer. Several bug fixes are included in this release.
Support for Unreal Engine 5 has been added. Other updates include: improved frame decoding speed; fixed texture mismatches when working in the Editor while not playing and when using the Sequencer; new experimental parameter called ResponsiveAA added, aimed at reducing blurring and ghosting artifacts.

A number of player functionalities have been moved into extension components (Timeline, Look At and Playback Controllers). The render pipeline URP and HDRP shaders have been replaced with Shader Graphs. The standard and retargeting variants of the shaders have also been unified.
HoloSuite Player Web 4.0.0 adds fixes for UI elements and updated examples for all platforms.
Besides desktop web browser playback and 8thWall AR support, users can now leverage the HoloSuitePlayer Web to host AR volumetric content using Zappar. This release includes several fixes for seamless playback on the latest Android and iOS devices.
